You would be working directly with the CEO of our company and helping fill in for the person who has been doing this job for 4 years – it was held by the same person as they advanced through multiple roles as it’s one of the most important tasks in our organization, which keeps everything else flowing. You will need to adapt to existing methods of the role and adapt to the sensibility of our CEO to make absolutely certain existing workflows are uninterrupted.

In essence, you will be in charge of his daily administrative tasks and schedules while working remotely. The importance of your role lies in ensuring that our CEOs responsibilities are thoroughly planned out which helps him stay organized and productive. This is a high-pressure job position which requires time-management skills, as well as quick, and sometimes creative problem-solving.

Junior Accountant

The current hours for this job are 9AM – 6PM Central European Time

The working hours are susceptible to change. 

We are looking for someone who will be flexible with working hours and shifts. 

Shift schedules may vary and rest days may eventually be assigned outside weekends depending on business needs. Ad-hoc tasks may be assigned from time-to-time.

You will work with our client “RHO”, a leading online bank that is helping businesses all over the world get smoother access to the financial system via online tools for borrowing money, using credit cards, and opening bank accounts.

You will help with:

– General Bookkeeping activities (AJE’s, bank reconciliation, etc.).
– Expense classification
– Backlog bookkeeping-accounting work in QB online.
– Accurate handling of journal entries and general account reviews
– Handling of general account reviews
– Accruals-Prepaid.
– NetSuite system
– Accounting data entry
– Ensuring compliance with all data-privacy or data security of client-sensitive information as well as other policies governing client transactions, as well as local (host country) relevant laws.
– Promoting and supporting a culture of professionalism and integrity, and build good working relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers
– Providing feedback and insights on how existing processes may be improved.
– Participating with Employee Engagement activities that would promote the welfare and positive atmosphere for the team

Accounts Receivable Associate

You will be responsible for the daily accounts receivable and credit process for retailers, as well as collections on delinquent retailers on behalf of various brands.

Communicating and interfacing with their invoicing and operations department as well as retailers and brands

Preparing Weekly A/R status reports for review and facilitating weekly AR meetings with brands

Working closely with accounting and invoicing to resolve retailer credit, discounts, and bounced checks

Promptly contacting retailers on past-due invoices and resolving any issues

Escalating issues for delinquent retailer accounts

Keeping management and brands abreast of potential collection problems at an early stage

Providing weekly reports regarding credit and A/R data at an account level and assisting the assistant controller by providing relevant information needed for allowance for doubtful accounts

Establishing a stage at which an invoice appears to be uncollectible and communicating to necessary parties

Developing and building relationships with retailers to streamline payment schedules
